Hyvää välinpitämättömyyttä - memento mori

Jospa helle opettaisi meitäkin laskemaan irti pätemisestä, touhuamisesta ja kaikenlaisesta hölmöistä ideoista siitä kuinka muka keräisimme lisää arvostusta tuntemalla 'oikeat' ihmiset, sanomalla 'oikeat' sanat, osoittamalla ns. oppineisuutemme jatkuvalla virralla Veda-säkeitä, touhuamalla mahdollisimman paljon.

Aurinko on Sri Krishnan Rakastava ja Alativalvova Silmä, Olenkin nyt helteillä ottanut tavaksi mennä Lillin kanssa iltaisin Ruoholahden rantaan, josta on suora näköyhteys Lauttasaaren sillalle. Auringonlasku näkyy loisteliaana kaikkine väreineen. Menen kiittämään taas yhdestä päivästä ja missä ikinä huomenna heräänkään, toivon että tavoitan sielläkin Jumalan lempeän Katseen. Onpa se sitten nähtävissä luonnossa, toistemme silmissä tai luontokappaleiden viattomassa olemuksessa.

Tämän ajan ehkä tunnetuin ortodoksi-pyhimys isä Paisios sanoo, että tarvitsemme joskus 'hyvää välinpitämättömyyttä' henkisellä tiellämme. Se tarkoittaa, että uskallamme luopua hetkeksi huolestamme, ettemme ehkä miellytäkään Jumalaa. Vapautua siitä kouristuksenomaisesta tilasta, jossa koko ajan yritämme päteä ja siten rakentaa jonkinlaista 'pyhyyden' sädekehää päämme päälle. Itserakennettua - ja silloin valheellista. Sellainen johtaa sisimmän kuoleentumiseen kun emme uskalla olla oma itsemme, Persoona isolla P:llä- ettei vain kukaan huomaa kuolevaisuuttamme. Tällä tavoin kehittyvätkin hyvin tuntemamme ontot, säkeitä suoltavat pseudo-uskovaiset.

Jospa kelluisimme hetken Jumalan Suloisen Rakkauden Aallokossa? Just let go. Uskaltaisimmeko päästää irti ja antaa Korkeimman Herran nauttia tuudittamisestamme? Silloin emme voi koskaan unohtaa Häntä - Krishna kyllä muistaa meidät.

It takes time to take distance of our pseudo-christian roots. I mean us in the Northern countries who have some kind of a strange connotation of Lutheran Christianity. Northern type of Christianity is very strange version of the original - the way how apostles were living their lives and how Christianity is understood in the old churches (Orthodox and Catholic). And now, please, no politics or list of what they have done wrong. Just let's talk about theology and philosophy. There are always, always people in every single movement or group, who are not living the way they are teaching. Just simply avoid those and seek for the company of genuine ones. I assure you; there are such people. Just pray to get them into your life. It works, let me tell you that. It has happened to me so it can happen to anybody.

We often think religious life means working working working 'till you drop. There might be an funny understanding that practicing yoga means forcing myself and others. Unfortunately bhakti-yoga is not at all free from this phenomenon. Why? See the paragraph above. There is no forcing in real love.

Srila Prabhupada called the wisest human being 'the lazy intelligent'. The worst is 'busy fool'. We have seen busy fools around us - and the damage they cause, so I think we all know what His Divine Grace meant. The others are 'lazy fool' and 'busy intelligent'. You have free choice which one you would like to be yourself. 

Being lazy intelligent doesn't mean that we stop all religious practices, not at all. But the basic thing is, who are we doing it for? Are we digging the prestige and appreciation of others or are we truly digging dirt out of our hearts? Is there any p-e-r-s-o-n available (ihminen tavattavissa)? 

We might find hard to be 'the lazy intelligent'. Ask yourself why it is so hard and you find your false ego. At least i have found mine. 

Trying to truly, sincerely love God is very interesting. And not at all painless. And ever blissful.
